One Uber driver lost his drivers’ side passenger door, due to a passenger not paying attention.
Uber is one of the most interesting companies, seeing how it changed the culture. Already, car services existed, such as taxi cabs. When Uber first began, the company name was a play on taxi cabs. Initially, the company was called UberCab. However, complaints from San Francisco taxi cab drivers led to them shortening their company’s name to Uber, which was likely for the best.
When driving Uber, all kinds of things can happen. But one thing most people would never expect to happen is a door getting taken off. However, things like this happen when a person isn’t paying attention to what’s going on. The ride was over and the passenger was getting out of the car. After not paying attention, she opened the door, and an oncoming car took it off. That got everybody’s attention.
