Veteran rapper, Uncle Luke, is the one who helped put the South on the map, in hip hop. The legendary rapper was the first one to represent the city of Miami. Decades later, Uncle Luke’s city would become home to many popular rappers.

Not only would Miami’s rap scene explode, many of the game’s biggest stars would move there. On top of that, Cash Money Records moved their headquarters there. Back in 2011, Luke called these rappers out for not actually helping in the city.

Uncle Luke stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” speaking with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. He spoke on his work in the city, including the “Warriors of Liberty City” youth football team he has sponsored for years. This led to a discussion about youth sports and much more.
