One of the most interesting rappers in the game is Uncle Murda. A few years ago, it seemed as if Jay-Z was going to develop Uncle Murda into one of the biggest rappers in the game. Along with many other artists, Uncle Murda was touted as one of the next big things from New York City.
French Montana and A$AP Rocky breathed new life into New York City’s hip hop scene. New York City has even gone through a major rejuvenation, with the Knicks back in playoff contention and the Nets now in Brooklyn. A native of Brooklyn, Uncle Murda is excited about the new energy.
A protege of Chris Lighty, Uncle Murda spoke to EME Empire about all of the projects he has going on. With a deal with Epic Records, Uncle Murda is now looking to establish his GMG label. Uncle Murda also spoke on why he chose Mike Epps to host his mixtape, The First 48.
