Over the past five years, a lot has changed within hip hop. Los Angeles is suddenly buzzing again, as is New York City. But, the roles have completely changed and the dynamic is much different. No longer is Los Angeles the home of gangsta rap, a lot of their artists make hyphy music and are highly lyrical.
Among the new leaders of the New York hip hop scene is Uncle Murda. He is far from a new name, as he has been doing his thing for over a decade. But, Uncle Murda is just now getting his chance to shine as a standalone artist and Epic Records even signed him to a lucrative deal.
Uncle Murda recently talked to Vlad TV and he explained something. Earlier this year, Uncle Murda released his “Do Sumthin” track. On the song, Uncle Murda raps about killing Suge Knight, an apparent diss, but he explained this lyric to Vlad TV to show his side of things.
