Before the end of 2012, Uncle Murda had become one of the most-discussed rappers in the game. Promoting hisĀ The First 48 mixtape, Uncle Murda sat down with various media outlets before dropping the mixtape. Surprisingly, January 2013 was full of hip hop releases, so Uncle Murda also dropped his tape.

For the first time since Uncle Murda was touted as the heir to Jay-Z’s throne, it appeared as if he would be one of the biggest rappers in the game. Early this year, Uncle Murda had the fortune of filming a music video with Tahiry Jose and Styles P. In addition to filming this video, Uncle Murda has kept the new music coming.

Earlier today, Uncle Murda sat down with Power 105.1 for “The Breakfast Club” and a lot of topics were touched upon. During the interview, Uncle Murda spoke on the final days of Roc-A-Fella Records. Uncle Murda also addressed his new mixtape, Chris Lighty, and his deal with Epic Records.
