Usher says “Confessions 2” album isn’t being planned, but won’t rule it out [VIDEO]

Usher speaks on possibility of “Confessions 2” album

Usher has been a popular trending topic on social media lately, due to his various concerts. This includes his second annual Lovers & Friends Festival, which was held in Las Vegas, two weeks ago. He also has his Las Vegas residency concerts, which were initially launched  in 2021.

Meanwhile, there has also been rumors about Usher releasing a sequel to his classic 2004 fourth studio album, “Confessions.” As a result, Usher is now addressing this, and emphasized that a Confessions 2 isn’t in the works, at the moment. However, the singer isn’t ruling out this potential possibility.

“Who knows? When we get there, we’ll see. We got time. There’s space and opportunity to think of new ideas. But the one that is 20 years old was a brilliant one.”

“For every producer, writer, and creative that had anything to do with it, we celebrate 20 years of an album. Most people don’t even have careers that last that long. To have an actual album that has stood the test of time? I appreciate my fans for continuing to love the music.”
