Fans have come to expect Usher to deliver something new every couple of years and he does not disappoint. When the weather began to warm up, earlier this year, Usher delivered his single, “Good Kisser,” and announced a new album. It’s been some months, but Usher is still working on UR, so there is still no release date.
Usher has other things keeping him busy, however, as he is a part-owner of the suddenly-contending Cleveland Cavaliers and he is on tour. Relative R&B newcomer, August Alsina is on the road with Usher, who took the youngster under his wing. Meanwhile, Usher’s name has been thrown around on the reality show circuit via “Atlanta Exes.”
Recently, Usher stopped by Power 105.1 when he was in New York City. He talked to only two of “The Breakfast Club” members in DJ Envy and Angela Yee, as Charlamagne Tha God was out. They told him he got off easy, but he discussed the new album the Cavs, his dancing and workout routines, “Atlanta Exes,” fatherhood, and much more.
