Recent years have seen Usher, like many other entertainers, expand his interests. Although he’s a star in music, Usher has focused on business ventures for additional income. Among his ventures, outside of being an owner of TIDAL with Jay Z is the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Initially a good investment, due to LeBron James, the Cavs became a risky deal, once he left. There was a four year period when Cleveland was among the worst teams in the NBA. Since then, LeBron has come back and tonight saw them win an NBA title.
Usher, along with many of the other biggest names in entertainment, was present for tonight’s game. Following the Cavaliers’ win, Usher spoke with Isiah Thomas and the “Inside The NBA” gang about Cleveland’s first sports championship in fifty two years. He also discussed LeBron James and growing up as an NBA fan, watching Hawks games.
