Some of the same circles Jay-Z traveled in to gain his footing in the game have also been filled by Vado. Four years ago, Vado gained fame in Harlem for his music and gained immediate co-signs by the veterans. Cam’ron signed Vado to Diplomat Records, but he is now a member of We The Best Music Group.
With We The Best Music Group operating under Cash Money Records, Vado is one of four members of the big label from New York City. Now, Vado is working alongside all of the friends of DJ Khaled in Miami. Ace Hood is among the people Vado is working with as a part of this new movement, as is Mavado.
Vado is getting his buzz back up with We The Best Music Group and it makes sense for him to align himself with greatness. Recently, Vado took in a a late session with Jay-Z, which is leading to a bit of speculation. Seeing how Jay-Z is snatching up talent left and right and the way things are shaping up, it looks as if Vado might sign with Roc Nation.
