Buzz picked up for Vado during the summer of 2009 and going into 2010, and then it led to him getting signed to Interscope Records. On the Harlem streets, Vado had been buzzing since 2007. During this time, Cam’ron had taken an indefinite break from the rap game, but when he returned Vado was his right-hand man.

It looked as if Vado was going to be the one to usher New York hip hop into a new era, but this did not happen. Once Cam’ron reunited with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, Vado became a part of the crew. During the promotion of Slime Flu 3, Vado made a stunning decision when he revealed he left Interscope Records.

Rumors swirled of Vado signing to DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group. Vado explained how he needed to be on the East Coast, where his buzz was at, with Vlad TV. During the interview, Vado also explained Cam’ron’s feelings on the deal and how their deal came together, in the first place, which is now over.
