Trading in Diplomat Records for We the Best Music Group, Vado made one of the first big stories of 2013. This news coincided with the release of Slime Flu 3 and made Vado a member of Cash Money Records. Now label-mates with Ace Hood, Mavado, and Rum, the Harlem spitter is also label-mates with Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj.

Regardless, Vado has fit right in with the label and has been one of 2013’s breakout artists. At one point, a few years prior, Vado was pegged as the next major artist to emerge from New York City. Despite signing with Interscope Records, this ended up not being the case.

But, when Vado sat down with Vlad TV, the conversation was not about which label he signed to. Instead, Vado reflected on his time working with Mase before he was a well-known rapper. Vado also talked about the decade-long beef Mase and Cam’ron enjoyed before calling a truce.
