Focus is back on The Diplomats, due to Juelz Santana’s recent comeback, but Vado has been in the news, as of late. The young Harlem emcee spoke of why he had to end his deal with Interscope Records. But, Vado’s Twitter remark about We the Best is what sparked major discussion.
Vado is now a member of DJ Khaled’s We the Best Music Group, making him now label-mates with Ace Hood and Mavado. By extension, Vado is also now label-mates with the members of Young Money, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. But, the focus is currently on his Slime Flu 3 mixtape.
DJ Whoo Kid recently spoke to Vado for his Whollywood Shuffle show on Shade 45. The talk centered around various topics. But, the main discussion was about Vado working with Lloyd Banks. Vado also talked about his departure from Interscope Records, which opened the door for his deal with We the Best.
