Vanessa Bryant opts to not renew the Kobe / Nike deal, with “Hall of Fame” Kobe 6’s being the final release; Twitter blasts Nike for not respecting Kobe Bryant’s legacy

So much has changed, in so little time, since Kobe Bryant died. While the world remains shocked by this, there was little reaction time for all that happened next. But, within the Bryant household, they remain in pain, as two members of the family were lost.

Kobe Bryant had a lot of projects going on, at the time of his death. He was coming into his own, as both a creator and a businessman. Proudly, Kobe touted his new job as a storyteller, but he had other business ventures going, too, such as his Nike deal.

Vanessa Bryant, this morning, was reported to have chosen to not renew the Kobe Bryant / Nike deal. Speculation says she wanted to keep the shoe limited, but Nike didn’t want to respect that. Because of this assumption, fans on Twitter have been dragging Nike, also putting the company on blast for terrible customer service.
