Hearts were heavy, to begin this week, with news of the sudden death of Kobe Bryant, and his daughter, Gianna. Many were hoping the news wasn’t true. When people realized it was, Vanessa began trending on social media, as fans were worrying for her, losing half of her family.
Vanessa Bryant has kept a low profile, despite Kobe Bryant being her husband. Even as he became the best player in the NBA, she was not a focal point. Their relationship was off the radar, but the love was real, shown during his final NBA game, more than ever before.
Understandably, Vanessa Bryant has not publicly spoken, or been seen, since the loss of her husband and child. Tonight, she boldly and bravely spoke. Gracefully, she thanked fans for their support of her and her family, during their losses, saying the prayers were needed, but also expressed her own sorrow for the other lives lost in the tragic helicopter crash.
