Vehicle crashes into a crowd of people near SXSW in Austin, Texas, leaving two people dead [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Each year, SXSW has become a bigger and bigger event. Almost all of the rising rappers in the game are in Austin right now for the major gathering. The festival encompasses film, music, and much more and fans come from all around the world to partake in the festivities.

This year marks the 27th annual SXSW festival and something has happened this year that never happened before. A particular crowd of people in Austin found themselves running to get out of the way of a vehicle. Some person driving a vehicle lost control and left the scene which can be viewed on the left.

The Austin Police Department and local news has been on the case, as has Complex’s news department. They have all had additional reports on what happened and revealed there are two people who lost their lives on the scene. Complex talked to a few of the people on the scene, as the driver was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter.
