Verzuz has had some amazing live hit for hit battles between plenty of legendary figures in the music industry. Among them have been T-Pain vs Lil Jon, Teddy Riley vs Babyface, Nelly vs Ludacris, and Fabolous vs Jadakiss. Now, they have confirmed another one that hip-hop fans are sure to appreciate.
On July 22, we will be seeing Snoop Dogg take on DMX. These are two of the biggest names in hip-hop to this day with their primes coming in the 1990s and early 2000s. It will take place on Verzuz’s Instagram account and on Apple Music. No time has been confirmed as of now.
Snoop has 17 studio albums and has plenty of tracks to go with. Some of his most popular records are “Drop It Like It’s Hot” with Pharrell and “Sexual Eruption.” Popular features include Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” and Akon’s “I Wanna Love You.” Some of DMX’s most notable records are “Ruff Ryders Anthem” and “Party Up (Up in Here).”) This is sure to be another highly anticipated matchup as fans look forward to next week.
