Last weekend, Verzuz revealed their upcoming dates as some of the matchups were made official as well. Among them are The Isley Brothers vs Earth, Wind & Fire on Easter Sunday on April 4 and a “How High” 4/20 special between Method Man and Redman.
Now, another Verzuz battle has been revealed as R&B fans will really appreciate this one. This will be between two legendary groups in SWV and Xscape. This will go down on May 8. These groups were most dominant in the 90s and are regarded as some of the best ever in the R&B genre.
This matchup will start at 8pm ET/5pm PT. It can be streamed on Instagram and Triller as well after the streaming service recently purchased Verzuz. Additional dates that will be filled are Mother’s Day on May 9, a surprise rematch from a previous Verzuz, two more unknown Verzuz matchups, and a “Ladies night” Verzuz as well.
