VH1’s “This Is Hot 97” spoofs “Love & Hip Hop” love triangle [VIDEO]

Venturing into reality television as a radio station was a risky move, but Hot 97 made this move. For better or for worse, “This Is Hot 97” exists and the show is currently getting mixed reviews. Another VH1 show gets mostly negative reviews, but it’s highly popular, “Love & Hip Hop.”

If the episodes of “This Is Hot 97” have proven anything, it’s that the Hot 97 radio personalities are definitely interesting characters. Those who have watched some of the Hot 97 interviews are aware of the Laura Stylez joke. When they interviewed Erica Mena and Cyn Santana, Ebro said Laura Stylez was a lesbian.

This joke was unexpectedly expanded upon when Angie Martinez, Laura Stylez, and Ebro made a parody of “Love & Hip Hop.” Their parody was based on the love triangle that was Erica Mena, Rich Dollaz, and Cyn Santana. In this short video, Ebro played the role of Rich Dollaz and it made for a quick little laugh.
