Vic Mensa arrested on felony narcotics charge, by U.S. Customs Agents, for allegedly being caught with shrooms, after Ghana trip

Vic Mensa is in an odd legal situation, after recently getting back from a trip to Ghana. According to TMZ, the Chicago rapper was arrested by U.S. Customs Agents, on Saturday.

Mensa had gotten back from Ghana on Saturday, when he was arrested for allegedly having shrooms on him. The arrest occurred at Dulles International Airport, in the Washington, D.C. area. The shrooms ended up being found on Mensa, after a “secondary search.”

As for charges on the table for Mensa, he is facing a felony, for narcotics possession. Mensa was initially in Ghana hanging out with Chance The Rapper, as well as President Nana Akufo-Addo. He and Chance had reportedly been promoting tourism, in Ghana.

Mensa’s last project came in March 2021, with his “I TAPE” EP. This contained seven tracks, with appearances from Jeremih, Wyclef Jean, and more.
