Vin Diesel continues to be one of the biggest actors in the industry. This comes as a result of his reoccurring role in the legendary “Fast & Furious” franchise, which initially began in 2001. The latest installment was released earlier this year, with “Fast X.”Vin Diesel’s ex-assistant sues him for 2010 sexual battery incident
However, Diesel is now in some serious legal woes. According to TMZ, he is now being sued for sexual battery, by one of his former assistants. This is Asta Jonasson, who was hired by One Race Films in 2010. This was during when the production of Fats & Furious 5 was ongoing, that year.
Furthermore, Jonasson revealed that she was in Diesel’s suite, inside the St. Regis in Atlanta. There, she added that the actor was “entertaining” multiple women. When the evening ended, she was supposed to escort Diesel out to avoid photographers. However, he allegedly then forcibly grabbed her, groped her breast and kissed her. He also attempted to lift up her dress and take her underwear off.
Furthermore, Diesel allegedly soon pinned Jonasson to a wall, and forced her hand onto his private area. He then began masturbating while leaning against her. In the hours after the incident, Jonasson was supposedly fired, as told to her by Diesel’s sister, Samantha Vincent, who is the President of One Race Films.
Meanwhile, Jonasson says she’s been quiet since 2010’s due to Diesel’s power in Hollywood, as well as her immigration status as a green card holder. But, the #MeToo movement and California’s Speak Out Act, which allows victims to file sexual assault claims for alleged incidents since 2009, helped her a lot. As a result, she is now suing Diesel, his sister and One Race Films for sexual battery, wrongful termination and hostile work environment.
