The past couple of years have changed things for Waka Flocka Flame, who last released an album in 2012. He has gone through a lot and it’s changed the way he does things. A major change is Waka Flocka Flame’s embracing of the EDM movement, working with Steve Aoki and many others.
Earlier this year, Steve Aoki talked to Hip Hop Vibe about working with Waka Flocka Flame, as the two shared “Rage The Night Away.” Back on the hip hop spectrum, Waka has continued signing acts to his label, 36 Brickhouse. A major signing was Joey Fatts and now he has another West Coast act.
Popular Oakland rising talent, Rayven Justice, has begun to make himself known all over the industry. He recently collaborated with Waka Flocka Flame, who came to Oakland to shoot the music video. Apparently, he did much more, as Waka Flocka Flame announced via Twitter that he signed Rayven Justice.
