Few rappers have ever kept it as real as Waka Flocka Flame has. When he rose to popularity, he was derided for not being a good rapper. Unlike most rappers, Flocka agreed, and I Can’t Rap is his most-popular mixtape series.

Waka Flocka openly talked about wanting to retire from rap to become a professional wrestler. After joining “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Flocka said he wanted to remain on reality TV. Soon, he would retire from rap, altogether.

While Waka Flocka Flame would move on from “Love & Hip Hop,” he found a home on reality TV. He has helped build the “Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta” series, leading to he and Tammy getting their own spinoff. Despite this, Waka Flocka claims he is broke, saying he took major financial losses, during the COVID-19 pandemic, but maintains that his “broke” is considered “rich” by most.
