Waka Flocka Flame denies affiliation with Suge Knight

Last October, Waka Flocka Flame had surprising news. Following in the footsteps of Petey Pablo, the Bricksquad Monopoly frontman announced a partnership with Suge Knight. At a time when many questioned why Waka Flocka Flame would want Knight involved in his career, Waka said he wanted to work with someone who knew the game. Despite his tarnished image, Suge Knight made millions in the game.

During a recent interview with XXL, Waka Flocka Flame was signing a different tune. Waka Flocka Flame told XXL he said he never partnered with Suge Knight. Instead, Waka Flocka Flame said he saw Suge Knight as an OG in the game. Waka Flocka Flame said he listened to Suge Knight, because he has already been through what he is going through. The Atlanta rapper felt there was no problem in taking advice from him, since he had taken an interest in his career.

Further distancing himself from his previous statements, Waka Flocka Flame said just because two people sit down and eat a burger, it does not mean they are going into business together. After the success he has had, since branching out of Brick Squad and launching Bricksquad Monopoly, Waka Flocka Flame has generated a lot of interest. There have been major labels making offers, according to Waka Flocka Flame, but Suge Knight will not be a part of the company.
