Two years have passed since Waka Flocka Flame released his debut album. Despite not releasing an album last year, Flocka remained relevant due to his touring and his album with Gucci Mane. Late in the summer of 2011, Waka Flocka Flame released the lead single, “Round of Applause,” from his sophomore album, Triple F Life.
While he has been in the public eye during this break, Waka Flocka Flame has gone through a lot. One of his label-mates, Slim Dunkin, was murdered in December, with rapper Young Vito being tried for the murder. Last year, Waka Flocka Flame also became a part of the PETA campaign.
Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” recently caught up with Waka Flocka Flame, where he discussed these topics and much more.
