All of this feels like more of a bad dream than something that is actually happening live. The weekend started with news about Doe B dying, after he capped off a year where his dreams came true. Things ended with news about Kayo Redd, the younger brother of Waka Flocka Flame, also dying.
This year, Waka Flocka Flame did not put out an album as originally planned. A lot of this may have to do with the implosion of his high-profile partnership and the following beef. In the end, Waka Flocka Flame chose to move on and do what was best for both him and his company.
Early this morning, Waka Flocka Flame’s mother, Debra Antney, made a tweet confirming Kayo Redd’s death. His death makes the second child she has lost and it’s painful when a mother has to deal with the loss of her child. Now, Waka Flocka Flame has taken the time out to mourn his brother with a Twitter update and a Flipagram video.
