Wale and DJ Clark Kent continue “Folarin” interview with Peter Rosenberg [VIDEO]

Not even one week removed from releasing Folarin, Wale is back to being one of the most-discussed names in the rap game. Holding his album back to release it in 2013, the Washington, DC rapper instead released a new mixtape. Taking things back to the old school, Wale had DJ Clark Kent hosting his project.

Always thinking outside of the box, Wale delivered Folarin with an old school DJ, while others use mainstream DJs. Wale impressed the rap world with his lyricism and proved to Rick Ross he could be a star. On his latest mixtape, Wale featured collaborations with everyone from Nipsey Hussle to Trinidad James.

Wale and DJ Clark Kent actually spoke to Peter Rosenberg about their mixtape. The first edition of their interview was released on the day Folarin was released. On the other hand, the second clip was held off. Earlier today, Wale and DJ Clark Kent continued their conversation.
