Before Wale was sweeping women off their feet with songs like “That Way” and “Lotus Flower Bomb,” he was one of the most-lyrical rappers in the game. Even though Wale caters to the commercial outlets, he remains very lyrical. But, during his mixtape days, the Washington, DC rapper was a bit more eccentric.

Much like most, Wale grew up a fan of Jerry Seinfeld and his “Seinfeld” sitcom, which aired on NBC. Before joining forces with Rick Ross and Maybach Music, Wale dropped his mixtape called The Mixtape About Nothing. Rising to fame in future years, Wale had the chance to meet Jerry Seinfeld.

Now, Wale and Jerry Seinfeld will be working closely, as their joint effort, The Album About Nothing, is coming soon. Earlier today, Wale released footage of he and Jerry Seinfeld working on their new project. Five years after the release of his mixtape, Wale will be releasing an official album with Jerry Seinfeld. There is currently no release date for this album, but fans will have the opportunity to see him working with Jerry.
