On “Love/Hate Thing,” Wale raps about starting to care less about the opinions of other people. If he has had one weakness in his career, it has been giving into comments made about him. Since joining Maybach Music, Wale has toned it down a lot, but there are times when he gives in to the public opinion.
Before Wale was a household name, one of the biggest names discussed in urban entertainment was Punk. Nicknamed Punk by Tiffany “New York” Pollard, Punk was muscular and he almost walked off with her heart. When she didn’t choose Punk, he found love with Jennifer Hudson.
Now married, Jennifer Hudson and Punk, real name David Otunga, have found happiness. However, this bliss was interrupted when David Otunga decided to voice his opinion on Wale’s “Bad” situation with Tiara Thomas and Rihanna. David Otunga tweeted how he added Rihanna and she overshadowed him.
