Throughout his career, Wale has played the role of odd man out. This was true, even when he was a part of Roc Nation and being managed by Jay Z. However, he has portrayed himself a bit differently in each phase of his career.
Wale is often noted for venting on social media and most have written him off as a complainer. Much of this is true and fans wish he would get back to making music. A large number of fans feel this way, including J. Cole, who aired it all out, or he was going at Drake.
This afternoon, Wale responded with his “Groundhog Day” track, where he takes aim at J. Cole and Jay Z. The social media world approves of how Wale handled matters. They have him as the hottest trending topic and now they hope Wale gets back to work.
