The Summer season is big for many reasons, but the main one is music concerts. Artist from every genre take advantage of the warm weather performing at different festivals. One celebrity took their talents up close and personal with fans, making for a memorable moment. In a trending video Wale jumps into the crowd during his performance at the Roots Picnic.

Wale is slowly making his way back into hip-hop lover’s hearts. The D.C. native’s smooth and poetic flow is still one of the most unique sounds in music. Since his 2008 debut album Attention Deficit, Wale has worked his way up to veteran status. Hits like “Chilling” featuring Lady Gaga, “Lotus Flower Bomb” featuring Miguel and “Bad” with Tiara Thomas charted consistently. He also made an impressive feature on Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands” single alongside Roscose Dash. That single is now certified diamond by the RIAA.

Although Wale found major success with Mayback Music Group, he abruptly left to sign with Def Jam Recordings in 2022. Since then, the “Poke It Out” artist is rebuilding his sound and reconnecting with his fans. At the Roots Picnic he performed the classics “LoveHate Thing”, “Matrimony”, “Pole Dancer” and “Down South”. Attendee’s of the event stated Wale had one of the best performances.
