Wale officially addresses Tiara Thomas signing with Interscope Records

Wale 17This year, Wale solidified his comeback with yet another song dedicated to the ladies with “Bad.” A new voice was featured on the single in Tiara Thomas, as the song emerged as one of 2013’s biggest hits early this year. When he made his rounds with the media, Wale spoke highly of Tiara Thomas, saying she was his artist.

In the midst of this promo run, Tiara Thomas released the original version of her single, “Bad.” Originally, Tiara Thomas rerecorded Trillville’s “Some Cut” and that is the version she leaked to the internet. Tiara Thomas also signed with Interscope Records, as opposed to signing with Wale.

Wale addressed this in interviews, saying it happens sometimes and he was undercut because the deal was not official. He said people tried to undercut him when Rick Ross was signing him, but he is loyal, so he did not do it. Earlier this week, Wale addressed the situation, fully.

Read Wale’s comments on Tiara Thomas below:

“It’s all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas and her new situation…it’ll take a while for me to do that again. I got trust issues already. I was trying to do something special off loyalty, and based on that, I realized that everybody looking out for themselves. I need to start looking out for myself. I got artists that I am helping but it will never be at that capacity again.”
