On October 22, Wale released his sixth studio album, “Folarin II.” This served as the sequel to the MMG rapper’s 2012 “Folarin” mixtape. This project was led by the singles “Angles,” ft. Chris Brown, “Down South,” ft. Maxo Kream and Yella Beezy, and “Poke It Out,” ft. J Cole.
Poke It Out has been the hottest song from Folarin II, and on Tuesday, Wale performed it on the big stage. This was during The Ellen DeGeneres Show. J. Cole was around to perform his verse, but Wale held it down, and delivered a very solid performance.
Folarin 2 also went on to debut at number 22, on the Billboard 200 chart. Additional appearances on the album, included Rick Ross, Jamie Foxx, and more. This is his second album in two years, as Wale previously released “Wow…”That’s Crazy,” in October 2019.
