Wale talks artwork for “The Gifted” with Jon J [VIDEO]

There are plenty of reasons to be excited for hip hop this month. All of the biggest names and more lyrical emcees are coming out with new albums. Wale, of course, is among this number of artists coming out with some new anthems for the summer. Anticipation is high for his third album, The Gifted.

Wale has an undeniable hit under his belt for The Gifted with “Bad.” Originally, the song featured rising songstress, Tiara Thomas. At one point, Tiara Thomas was to be an artist of Wale’s. During his interview with Hot 97, Wale said this was no longer the case and he replaced her with Rihanna on “Bad.”

A little over a week remains before Wale will release The Gifted. He is using this time to promote his album with a few vlogs. Wale sat down with famed cameraman, Jon J, to talk about The Gifted. The album cover for The Gifted has had people talking and Wale explained some things.
