Over the course of his career, Wale has always dealt with harsh criticism. Typically, Wale responds on social media in crazy rants, whether it be to the media or to the fans. Because of this, it is likely that some provoke him, intentionally.
However, a couple of years ago, Wale appeared to be hip hop’s next big breakout artist. When he signed with Rick Ross and Maybach Music, Wale had music all over the place. That, plus Jay Z managing him, helped Wale truly turn a corner.
Wale recently made his media rounds and he stopped by Sway to talk to him. Discussing his business ideas, Wale mentioned he wants to work with WWE and his connections over there. Also addressing charity, Wale spoke on performing for the president and his conversation with Obama, before discussing Nicki Minaj, and freestyling.
