At times, Wale has shown how great he can be. In 2011, during his run with Ambition, he looked like he was just scratching the surface. But, seven years later, that has proven to be the peak of his career, thus far, but the clock hasn’t run out on him.
Late last year, Wale was dropped by Atlantic Records, but this just opened the door for Warner Bros. to sign him. The move is probably a good one, as Wale had most of his success on Warner. Originally, the deal MMG made was with Warner, before they were moved to Atlantic.
Wale paid a visit to Hot 97, speaking with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and also Laura Stylez. Having released a new EP, Wale came into discuss it. There was also a very tense moment with Rosenberg, which became very awkward.
