Over the course of his career, Wale has found himself to be misunderstood. Early on, many felt like he was an emotional complainer who ranted too much on social media. Now, ranting on social media is the in thing to do.
But, as Wale has explained in his music, his rantings were always because he felt he could do better. The spike in his popularity came when he stopped ranting and started doing better. During that time, he proved he could be a star.
With SHiNE officially dropping tomorrow, Wale is making his rounds with the media, stopping by Hot 97. Sitting down with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, Wale spoke on where his career currently stands. He discussed being a father, J. Cole, and much more.
