June 18 was expected to be a big day in hip hop, which it was, but it also was a bit of a let-down. Wale did the right thing by sticking to his original June 25 release date, as he won the battle and is leading in the war. Album sales, overall, is what matters and good music is most-important of all.
“Bad” helped Wale launch The Gifted and the career of Tiara Thomas. Wale had big plans for Tiara Thomas and he was excited about launching his company around her. Plans don’t always work out and Tiara Thomas left him for bigger opportunities and Rihanna jumped on the “Bad” remix.
Wale talked to Billboard about The Gifted and the “Bad” remix. In the interview, Wale revealed something somewhat surprising, he didn’t even expect Rihanna do jump on the remix! But, in separate news Wale plans to drop his new track with J. Cole tomorrow, according to Twitter.
