Through the whole Meek Mill/Drake beef, Wale was pretty quiet. He was so quiet, a lot of fans wondered what was going on. Then, when he did make his return, Wale posted a photo of him with Drake on his profile on Instagram.
Last year, before he went to prison, Meek Mill dissed Wale for not promoting his album on Instagram. He went as far to accuse his label-mate of being jealous and hating on him. Some considered Drake responding to Meek Mill to be a form of karma.
Wale stopped by “The Breakfast Club” this morning and he addressed that very situation. During the interview, Wale talked about his own success, before getting into that discussion. When speaking on the state of MMG, Wale got into the Meek Mill/Drake stuff and he said Drake won because Meek brought a pencil to a gunfight.
