Wale Angie MartinezPresently, momentum is on Wale’s side as he seems to be the only rapper in the game who is making headlines for rap. This is somewhat odd, given Wale’s history of being embroiled in controversy. But, Wale is working right now and he’s working hard on something that he is calling Nothing, literally.

Wale teamed up with Jerry Seinfeld for his “Seinfeld”-inspired The Album About Nothing, his fourth studio album. The album is a sequel, of sorts, to his Mixtape About Nothing series. Now, Wale is in the final stages of putting his album out and he left Roc Nation in order to secure a better release.

Angie Martinez recently welcomed Wale to her show on Power 105.1, where he opened up on several topics. Of course, Wale was there and talking about The Album About Nothing and working with Jerry Seinfeld. Wale went on to discuss his past, dating Solange, and then, ironically, Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
