Wale talks “The Gifted” with MTV’s “RapFix Live” [VIDEO]

When Wale first joined Maybach Music, it looked as if he was going to hit the ground running, which he did. Once his deal with Interscope Records failed, Wale began meeting with Rick Ross and he joined his label. Wale initially told the media his second and third albums would come in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

Instead, Rick Ross decided to let Wale wait until 2013 to put out his album. Since he first landed with Maybach Music, Wale has carved out a niche for himself making music for the ladies. With Fabolous now making street-oriented songs, Wale has taken over the lane he once occupied.

Recently, Wale announced his third album, The Gifted. Sway Calloway sat down with Wale on the couch at MTV’s “RapFix Live.” During the interview, Wale spoke on his upcoming album and he was highly-confident in the new music he has coming out. Wale released the video for his “Bad” single yesterday with Tiara Thomas.
