Hard to imagine how far Wale has come in a short two years. During this time in 2011, Wale was preparing his debut on Rick Ross’ Maybach Music. The transition was handled very well and Wale took the game over. Initially, Wale planned to deliver his third album in 2013.
Independently, Wale released his single, “Bad,” which went on to become a hit. Picking up on the success of the song, Wale quickly turned it into his next single. While continuing to release his street videos, Wale went ahead and released the “Bad” video. Since then, there has been a lot of talk about Tiara Thomas.
But, when Wale was in New York City interviewing with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” he found himself dodging questions about MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game.” During the interview, Wale did speak more openly about some of the other topics. Wale talked about the upcoming music he has, The Gifted, and The Album About Nothing, his joint project with Jerry Seinfeld. When asked about his altercation with a fan at a Washington, DC mall, Wale opened up on that too.
