This morning, Roseanne Barr made controversial comments about former Obama cabinet member, Valerie Jarrett. The word “ape” was used and that was enough to set Twitter off. During the Obama presidency, Barr was a vocal critic, much like the current president.

However, Roseanne Barr still revived her “Roseanne” series, which originally aired, in the 1990s. The return of the show has dealt with politics. With Roseanne being from the “Rust Belt” that elected Trump, she was one of the crossover voters, clashing with her family.

Wanda Sykes was a part of the “Roseanne” writing team, for the new series. However, the comments Roseanne made, on Twitter, this morning, has led to her quitting. A few minutes ago, Wanda Sykes announced she wouldn’t be returning to the show.
