Warriors are willing to trade everyone except Steph Curry
Last night, the Golden State Warriors got destroyed by the New Orleans Pelicans. It’s been tough for the Warriors, this season. Initially, Golden State started the season 5-1 and had the NBA’s best record. When they played Denver, the first time, they lost. With the exception of the Celtics, every time they’ve faced a good team, they’ve lost. In addition, bad teams are also beating them. But, what the Pelicans did last night led to booing. Now, reports claim the Warriors are offering up everybody but Steph.
Draymond Green had two straight violent outbursts, which led to his suspension. While he was gone, he contemplated retiring. The problem with the Warriors is more than just one. Not only is Green becoming increasing violent, also he no longer wants to play. Meanwhile, Steph is putting up MVP numbers, but younger and better teams are out there. Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves own the West. Denver is the defending champions, the Clippers are looking good, then there’s Shai and OKC, and the Lakers.
Golden State is struggling, in large part, because the competition got better. Along with the aforementioned teams, there’s also the Kings, Suns, Mavericks, and Pelicans. Gone are the days when the Warriors stand heads and shoulders above the rest of league, let alone just the West. Last night’s loss was seemingly the wakeup call for the Warriors. The fans want Klay Thompson gone, but according to reports, the Warriors are willing to part with everyone not named Steph Curry.
