Known for such hits as “Give Me That” and “Independent,” Webbie has made himself a household name. His mainstream notability comes and goes, so Webbie has begun to rely on his independent releases. But, Webbie is still good to return with a new album in the Savage Life series.
This week saw Webbie release his Savage Life 4 album and it delivers more of that trill music. Because he has managed to consistently deliver new music for eight years, Webbie is considered the biggest artist on the Baton Rouge scene. However, the biggest name is probably “A Bay Bay.”
Hurricane Chris made that phrase popular, but DJ Bay Bay is the man behind the phrase and his career is going strong. Last year, DJ Bay Bay joined Maybach Music and he is also a personality for Dallas’ K104 FM. He hosted his fellow Baton Rouge star, Webbie, and they discussed Savage Life 4.
