Where is Rihanna? What kind of question is that, even? Rihanna is an artist unlike any other in the game, she took four years off at the height of her career, and even dropped a hit record during her hiatus, returning the next year.

Rihanna manages to stick out by playing by her own rules, and how she has handled her music since 2012 is how she does everything else. Just when people begin wondering where she’s at, she returns. This evening was a prime example of this.

Tonight, the Met Gala ceremony is taking place and the red carpets were filled. Everyone from Mary-Kate and Ashley, Diddy and Cassie, and Jay Z and Beyonce walked the red carpet. Right when Twitter was breaking over “Where is Rihanna?,” the bad gal, herself, finally came sauntering through, dressed like that.
