White deputy sheriff body slams female Black student when she won’t get out of her seat [VIDEO]
White deputy body slams Black female student in class
Unfortunately, it appears that it isn’t safe anywhere. Even at school, students are not safe, and the teachers are not safe. Honestly, the respect that is missing at school, and society, allows for anything to happen. Even still, sometimes things are taken entirely too far. Earlier this week, a girl went to school, and wound up the victim of what is likely to be the resource officer. He pulled this young woman from her seat, using excessive force.
Over the past decade, law enforcement has faced much scrutiny. Many of their practices, especially against minorities have been called out. As a result, there has been a much bigger debate going on about society. In turn, there are people on both sides who are making accusations about the others. However, what moments like these truly call for are unity among the people. Unfortunately, it looks like that won’t happen any time soon.
On Twitter, a video has been trending for a couple of days. This video is truly disturbing, as it shows a grown man brutalizing a girl who is only in high school. Apparently, the girl refused to get out of her seat, and was kicked out of class. As a result, the school resource officer was called, which is typical. The officer decided he would take it upon himself to get the girl to get out of her seat. To that end, he ended up grabbing the girl by the neck, dragging her out of the seat, and slamming her.

That still does not give him a right to use the force he did .People don’t listen everyday all the time , every minute of the hour .

Yes. Just simply allow her to prevent the other students from learning. Makes sense to me.

Maybe a young child in your family will have the opportunity to be body slammed by an adult male for not listening.

too extreme, however never talking about how these kids do whatever they want. disrespectful to teacher and officer, disrupting class, refused to leave her seat or the classroom. How should that be dealt with?

this is an old video, as a matter of fact over a year old. This officer should not have used that type of force on her. It is so sad that this officer didn’t consider she was a young kid. He only saw her skin color and was not going to tolerate a black (young and/or old) not obeying his instructions.

This was very wrong, but it happened years ago in Columbia, SC. The deputy was fired. Sheriff Lot does not play. He does not stand behind his officers that break the law.

yes, too much force. but what are you going to do. I say get a cattle prod and zap 1 time and she would be up and all the other kids would see it and you wouldn’t have this problem

He didn’t hurt her. Looks to me like she had it coming. Calling her a “victim” when she’s the one disrupting class is a very woke comment. Reporters are just supposed to write the facts without pushing their personal “feelings” on the public. If he would have just gave up, what kind of message is that sending. It’s telling the whole school body that they don’t have to respect authority. It’s not hard to imagine what would happen then.

Here’s an idea, teach your kids better and then they won’t have to deal with consequences they don’t like.

why have resource officers if the kids won’t even listen? why bother with any form of authority if the kids won’t respect it? only when there’s a shooter do people cry, “where are the cops… where are those people in authority when you need them? otherwise the saying is just, “why are the officers here? they aren’t the boss, I am.”

If people would raise their kids right and teach them manners and to listen to authority, aka the teacher and then the resource officer, then this kind of thing wouldn’t happen. When I was in school, if you didn’t listen to your teacher they would take you out to the hallway and paddle your butt. It is not up to teachers and resource officers to raise your kids. Your kids are NOT perfect and you need to listen when the teacher tells you there’s a problem. Quit blaming the teacher and resource officer who are trying to do their jobs. If a teenager grabs ahold of a desk and won’t let go even after the teach and resource officer said to get up, then what are they supposed to do? You have to show them who’s in charge. If my kid did that, he would get his butt whooped when he got home!
