Yesterday, a security guard doing his job at the Montgomery riverboat got jumped, but he had some unexpected reinforcements. What began as a six on one ended up being a massive brawl. The security guard was a Black man and the people beating him were White. There were a group of Black people on boats, who swam to the guard’s defense. Now, one of the men on the losing side of the fight ended up speaking out.

Sunday evening ended with people on social media sharing the riverboat fight. This morning and even into the afternoon and evening, people are still sharing memes. The memes people are sharing are beginning to overshadow the actual story. In addition, Marlon Wayans has gotten into hot water over his comments about the situation. There is now a person who was actually involved in the situation, who is speaking out.

One of the unnamed White men involved in the jumping of the security guard spoke out. The Alabama man took to TikTok, where he shared his opinion on the situation. In a brief video, he explained his take on the situation. He, along with several others, began to jump the security guard. As a result, several people came to the guard’s defense. After that, they beat the men. So one of the guys did a video, showing his blacked eyes, saying the 65-year-old guard hit harder than he thought.
