White man tackles Black woman accused of shoplifting

These days, shoplifters are bolder than they’ve ever been before. Not only are people beating up store employees, but they are also trying to steal children in stores. While it may seem extreme, but some people are physically stepping in to stop people from stealing while shopping. One man didn’t expect to make national news, when he stepped in. However, when he saw two women who looked like they were shoplifting, he stepped in. For his efforts, he did take a hit.

Shoplifting is becoming an epidemic in the United States. As a result, brick and mortar stores are beginning to close their doors. After nearly thirty years of retail domination, Walmart is closing several stores. To be exact, Walmart is closing 269 stores across the United States. Four of those locations are in the city of Chicago. In addition, Sears and Kmart have nearly shuttered their entire operation of physical stores.

At a California TJ Maxx, two Black women were suspected of shoplifting. The women had several bags in their hands. One woman made it out of the door. However, when the second woman tried to walk out, this White man grabbed her arm. In turn, the woman did hit him. None of this stopped the man, as he ended up tackling her. As a result, the woman lost her balance. She was unable to leave without being seen. So, it’s unclear what was actually taken from the store.
