Will Smith hasn’t given Chris Rock a personal apology yet
Will Smith made a spectacle of himself, when he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. Afterward, Will Smith apologized to the Academy, when he accepted his award. A day later, Will Smith issued a statement with a deeper apology. When Will Smith released the statement, he apologized to Chris Rock.
Will Smith apologized to Chris Rock, but Rock’s family did not accept it. Chris Rock’s brother, Tony Rock, called Smith out for not personally reaching out. Will Smith actually worked with Tony Rock on “All of Us,” from 2003 through 2007. When Tony Rock was asked about this, he said that no longer mattered.
Will Smith, meanwhile, has released an official statement, and recently went on vacation. Despite all of the healing from Will Smith, he has yet to speak to Chris Rock. Recently, Chris Rock’s mother spoke about Will Smith slapping her son. Chris Rock’s mother said that when Will Smith slapped her son, he slapped the entire Rock family. While Will Smith made headlines for his “spiritual trip” to India, Rock is reportedly annoyed. After a month has passed, Will Smith still hasn’t spoken to Chris Rock.
