Will Smith reflects on “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” turning 33

On this day, way back in 1990, the classic “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” sitcom first premiered on NBC. Furthermore, this show also propelled Will Smith to superstardom. Smith the role of himself, and a trouble teenager from Philadelphia who moves in with his wealthy aunt and uncle, as well as his cousins.

Meanwhile, Will Smith is now reflecting on 33 years of The Prince Of Bel-Air. On Sunday afternoon, he took to Instagram to post a photo of him posting in front of the Bel Air mansion that was used in the show. There, his caption said “Moved in 33 years ago today.”

Smith was all smiles, as he sported a black and green jacket, as well as black pants with it. He was seen in the front yard of the home, where his close friend DJ Jazzy Jeff would get thrown out by Uncle Phil, as his character “Jazz,” in the show.

In 2022, the Fresh Prince reboot also aired on Peacock, which is “Bel-Air.” Jabari Smith plays the role of Will, as season 2 went on to air, this past spring. As a result, a third season has since been renewed.
